The Feast of the Ascension

Join us at St. John’s Episcopal Church for a joyful and powerful celebration of the Feast of the Ascension with a special evening worship service.
The Ascension is the great exclamation point of the Easter story—a feast of victory, alleluias, and hope. On this day, we celebrate not Christ’s absence, but his eternal enthronement. In him, the powers of sin and death are defeated and placed beneath his feet, and the Church is invited to live and walk in that victory.
This unique service—one we are offering for the first time—will be filled with beauty and meaning. We will begin with a grand procession, then joyful music will carry the liturgy of the Word, drawing us into the mystery and triumph of the day, before concluding with Holy Communion.
Come be part of this uplifting and celebratory evening as we mark the Ascension with gratitude, wonder, and joy. Alleluia!
