DESCRIPTION:With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all.” Acts 4:33\, NIV \nThe Standing Committee invites the diocese to gather again as we continue our journey of living in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. One year ago\, listening sessions supported our healing\, growth and reconciliation. This year\, we will deepen our life together as we listen to one another\, process more information about the Title IV charges relating to Bishop Howard (each session will include a presentation by a presenter knowledgeable about those charges)\, and as we continue to work and move towards the election of our next bishop. \nWe encourage you to come\, listen and learn at one of the three following sessions. Each session’s agenda will be the same. Therefore\, feel free to come to a session outside of your parish’s region if the date is more convenient for you. \nBishop Mary Gray Reeves returns to lead Diocesan listening sessions for laity and clergy. Representatives from the Standing Committee and Diocesan Council will also be present. Come and be heard. \nNOTE: All sessions will include lunch. The deadline to order lunch is March 31. You can still register for the session until April 4\, but lunch orders must be placed by the earlier deadline. Lunch will be served at noon\, and the program will begin at 1 p.m.
