DESCRIPTION:Compline is an ancient monastic service offered to God before bedtime\, sung by members of St. John’s Episcopal Church each Sunday night during the academic term. Candles offer the only illumination during this time of spiritual reflection and renewal. Whether you’re a member or a visitor\, St. John’s invites you to enjoy this unique contemplative opportunity featuring chanting\, Scripture\, meditative prayer\, and sublime music. \nThis service is held weekly in the church. The Compline calendar runs through April 26\, 2026. \nNOTE: Please enter through our Welcome Plaza on Call St. and come up the ramp to enter the church using the east door. The Calhoun St. door will be locked\, as will the north and south tower doors.
