SUMMARY:Christmas Caroling
DESCRIPTION:Join St. John’s for an afternoon of Christmas caroling as a parish community! After the 10 AM service\, we’ll gather in Alfriend Hall for a pizza lunch\, then head to the choir room to rehearse and deck ourselves in festive apparel. We’ll depart by bus to visit St. John’s parishioners and some of our Tallahassee neighbors\, singing well-loved carols. All ages and singing abilities are welcome! \nNote: this special event is being held in place of Youth and Children’s Sunday School on this particular Sunday. Adult Sunday School WILL meet for an abbreviated discussion so individuals of all ages can join us for this special parish-wide fellowship event. The bus will depart at approximately 12:15 PM. \n

SUMMARY:Trunk ‘R Treat & Organ Spooktacular
DESCRIPTION:A fun fall event for the entire family is coming your way on Sunday\, October 26 from 5 to 6 PM. St. John’s second annual Trunk-R-Treat will be held in the parking lot behind the former St. John’s Bookstore. The entire community is welcome to come trick or treat in this safe\, fun environment. \nAt 6 PM\, head over to the church for a 15 minute Organ Spooktacular Concert. \nWant to help us make this a fun night for our “Trunk-R-Treaters?” There are two ways to volunteer: \n\nHost a Trunk: decorate your car’s trunk and pass out candy to visiting families. Use your imagination and have fun when creating a theme for your vehicle. Prizes will be awarded! Please come with candy to distribute at your vehicle\, and we will help you refill as the event progresses.
