SUMMARY:Choristers’ Evensong for Cuba
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Chorister Evensong as we gather in prayerful solidarity with our friends and companion parishes in Cuba. \nThis reflective service of sung evening prayer will be shaped by the voices of our choristers\, creating space for stillness\, hope\, and shared concern for the wider Church. Together\, we will lift up the people of Cuba\, their clergy and congregations\, and all who are facing deep challenges and uncertainty in this season. \nIn a spirit of companionship and mutual prayer\, we come to remember that we are part of one body in Christ—bound together across borders by faith\, love\, and the promise of God’s peace. All are warmly invited to attend this meaningful service of music\, prayer\, and solidarity.

SUMMARY:Trunk ‘R Treat & Organ Spooktacular
DESCRIPTION:A fun fall event for the entire family is coming your way on Sunday\, October 26 from 5 to 6 PM. St. John’s second annual Trunk-R-Treat will be held in the parking lot behind the former St. John’s Bookstore. The entire community is welcome to come trick or treat in this safe\, fun environment. \nAt 6 PM\, head over to the church for a 15 minute Organ Spooktacular Concert. \nWant to help us make this a fun night for our “Trunk-R-Treaters?” There are two ways to volunteer: \n\nHost a Trunk: decorate your car’s trunk and pass out candy to visiting families. Use your imagination and have fun when creating a theme for your vehicle. Prizes will be awarded! Please come with candy to distribute at your vehicle\, and we will help you refill as the event progresses. Click here to Host a Trunk!\n\nSend in Candy Donations: St. John’s Children’s Ministry will be collecting candy from parishioners throughout the month of October.  This will help us replenish candy throughout the evening for those who are hosting cars. Please bring bags of individually wrapped candy to the office by October 19.
