Salt Luncheon, featuring Mark Mustian

Join us this April for a special SALT (St. John’s Actively Living Triumphantly) Luncheon featuring guest speaker Mark Mustian, acclaimed author and founder of Tallahassee’s beloved Word of South Festival of Literature and Music.
Mark will take us behind the scenes of the Word of South festival, sharing how this unique celebration of storytelling and music comes together—from big ideas to final performances. With his experience as both an award-winning novelist and community leader, his presentation promises to be engaging, insightful, and inspiring.
Following the presentation, there will be time for a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to learn more and join the conversation. Lunch will be served afterward, offering time for fellowship and connection.
While SALT stands for “St. John’s Actively Living Triumphantly,” all ages are warmly invited to attend—so bring a friend!
Event Details:
- Coffee served in Alfriend Hall at 10:30 AM
- Program begins at 11:00 AM in Killeen Hall
- Lunch follows the presentation
Please RSVP by April 8. A $10 donation per person is appreciated to help cover the cost of lunch.
We hope you’ll join us for this enriching morning of stories, conversation, and community!
